Awkward moments...

We had an awkward situation this weekend. We were at a goodbye party for some friends that were moving and ran into my husbands former boss... a jovial guy who speaks before he thinks, and before we knew it, he asked if we were making babies yet... we both felt like we turned to stone, not knowing what to say. I couldn't even think of a smartass joke-type comment...he actually said that the awkward silence that followed clearly showed it was none of his business and he laughed. In retrospect....probably the best answer we could have given him!
